Brig. General (RCAF) Veasna Var, PhD Candidate, University of New South Wales, Australia visits Techo Sen School

Bri. General Veasna Var met Dean Keo Chhea and Professor Din Merican at the Techo Sen School today. This is in connection with his doctoral research on Cambodia-China Relations. They discussed a wide range of topical issues related to China’s economic relations with Cambodia including aid and technical assistance, Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), ASEAN, and US Policy towards Asia and ASEAN under the new Trump administration.

The 2-hour long session was to enable our visitor to exchange and share views and perspectives on the future of Cambodia-China Strategic Partnership in trade and economic development. At the end of the session, Dean Keo Chhea invited Bri.Gen Var to join a lecture session with doctoral students at TSS, 10th Floor, on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 1-4 pm. Here is an opportunity for our doctoral students interact with an outstanding researcher whose articles and papers on contemporary Cambodian issues have received academic attention in our region.
